Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue ellis-taylor, the American screen and stage actor and producer. She is best known as an actress in films for her role in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She received an B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School of acting at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis, a writer and American actor who is active in theater, television and film. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 and then appeared in mainstream, independent and TV series. The actress became well-known as Miranda Shaw, a character who appeared on ABC's Quantico. In BET's amazing show The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. Not only did she receive critical acclaim for her performance, but she was also awarded and nominations. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut on stage in The Tempest as Ariel. Alongside Broadway's Come and Gone, she is also credited in Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In terms of her work in the film industry, her best-known roles include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. Her most well-known role is her role on ABC's crime-drama High Incident.
